We are an applied behavior analysis (ABA) service provider for children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder. Our programs emphasize activity-based instruction and learning in the natural environment. Our guiding principles are to be productive and to be fun! All clients follow a session schedule with a high-energy Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) that is driven by a diversity of activities to maximize interactions between the child, family, RBT, and environment. From the onset of services, we prioritize child-chosen activities and look to maximize communication opportunities within. Across time, our goal is to cultivate new interests through frequent exposure to novel activities.
Family participation is strongly encouraged to promote carryover of new skills to real-life situations. Caregivers are included in the development of treatment goals and are direct participants during therapy sessions. Siblings and extended family are also included in treatment sessions to model play skills and provide opportunities for social communication.
Additionally, inclusion and community participation are core components of our programs. From the onset of therapy, we encourage frequent community outings to a variety of locations including the park, library, play group, stores, and restaurants. Our long-term goal is for participation in similar-age peer activities and organizations based on the interests of the child.
All direct therapists are certified through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) as Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT). Certification in Pivotal Response Treatment (PRT) is strongly encouraged and supported for all staff. New RBTs and startup programs are provided with extensive coaching from the supervising behavior analyst.
